Councillor Vacancies on Rennington Parish Council

Do you have an interest in your local environment, planning and housing issues, local transport, community services and amenities, local business and much more?

Would you like to get involved in making decisions about your local community?

Rennington Parish Council is looking for additional councillors to make a contribution on behalf of their community.  Seven councillors are serving on the current Parish Council and there are vacancies for an additional three councillors.  We invite you to apply and be considered for co-option to the Council.  We want to see a team of councillors that reflects and represents the diversity of the community we serve.

Following the May 2021 local elections, the Council has adopted a number of key priorities that will influence its work going forward:

  1. Engagement and involvement with members of the community in order to properly represent the views of the electorate
  2. A high standard of governance to include transparency, accountability, inclusiveness and participation.
  3. Adoption of a Neighbourhood Development Plan for the whole parish of Rennington.
