This consultation process provides an important opportunity for everyone to share their views and contribute to shaping the future of our community.
The Regulation 14 Consultation on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan will be open from 20 October to 1 December 2025. Your input will be invaluable in helping to improve the Plan before it is formally considered by Northumberland County Council.
What happens after 1 December 2025?
Once the Regulation 14 Consultation closes, all responses will be reviewed by the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group and the Parish Council. The Draft Plan will be updated where appropriate in response to comments and then submitted to Northumberland County Council. An independent examiner will review the Plan, and if approved, it will proceed to a local referendum so all residents can vote.
